Adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- ADHD is a neurologic disorder affecting brain signaling in the frontal cortex and subcortical regions of the brain. Neuro-chemical imbalances can cause a loss of motor control, easy agitation, hyperactivity, decreased concentration, irregular reward pathways and peculiar behaviors. Psycho-stimulant medications modulate brain chemistry and enhance signaling from various brain regions.
Promoting Self-Confidence, Productivity and Awareness
-
Adult ADHD is assessed by a trained physician aided by a biological and psychological history, visual and hearing exams, and specific screening questionnaires.
At Embrasse, we accept several HMO, most PPO insurance carriers and cash payments for the initial ADHD assessment. If psych-stimulant medications are necessary, there is a nominal fee for each monthly script.
Adolescent Mental Health
A Variety of Treatments Available
- There are several prominent mental health features in young adults such as anxiety, depression, adult and adolescent ADHD and conduct disorders. In many cases concerned mothers and fathers report difficulties with child and parent relations. Interestingly, conduct disorder is among the most common diagnosis in outpatient child psychiatry clinics. Other common illnesses include mood disorders such as depressive and bipolar disorders, along with motor and vocal tic disorders. Common biologic remedies include low dose antidepressants and or mood stabilizers to alleviate pervasive symptoms.
Medication Management

- Embrasse Behavioral Health knows that prescriptions on their own run the risk of being misused or abused. That's why we employ an office-based medication program to make sure we can better monitor your dosage, reactions, progress, and side effects of your medications. Contact us today to learn more about our available programs to promote recovery.
Medication Assisted Therapy

Therapeutic Interventions and Maintenance Therapy
-
We provide Suboxone and Vivitrol treatments for opiate and alcohol use disorders at a substantial discount for most privately insured clients. We also administer the newly FDA approved Sublocade, 28-day extended buprenorphine release medication.
Moreover, we administer a multitude of long acting injectable (LAI) medications for the treatment of mood or bipolar disorders and schizophrenia.
